Jigawa State Governor, Muhammed Badaru Abubakar‎, was absent at the signing of the peace accord for contestants in the forth coming general elections in the state.

The peace accord signing, which ‎was organised by the state office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had earlier invited all political parties’ governorship contestants.
